120 films were recently selected from all over the world from independent feature, documentary, short narrative and animated emerging filmmakers.

 

 

Throughout the 2010 New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF) films will be shown from the PSA (Public Service Advertisement) campaign “Reel Jobs. Reel Proud. Reel New Yorkers.” The campaign created by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting features New Yorkers who make their living working behind the scenes in film and television production and aims to educate the public about the importance of the industry.

 

 

The New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF) assists emerging international filmmakers to expand the audience for their works, broaden the access for the general public to experience independent film, promotes New York City as a major filmmaking center and recognizes Times Square as the crossroads of the world.

New York, NY (August 4, 2010) New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF) announces an unprecedented event in the heart of Times Square. 120 films were selected from all over the world from independent feature, documentary, short narrative and animated emerging filmmakers.

 

New World Stages theatre is located at 340 W 50th Street, NYC, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.
